Even as the Isreal-Hamas conflict escalates, markets are ‘quite stoic.’

Markets are ‘quite stoic’ about the Israel-Hamas conflict

Tom Piotrowski of CommSec revealed that the markets are “quite stoic” and have no effect on them as the war between Israel and Hamas continues.

“We’re seeing a consolidation where stocks are concerned,” he said in an interview with Sky News Australia.

“We saw modest gains; we’ve still got minutes to go as far as the US session is concerned.”

“But we’ve got an improvement of around 0.2% as far as the S&P 500 is concerned.”

Mr. Piotrowski remarked that the Israel-Hamas war continues to escalate as the death toll continues to rise by thousands on Thursday.
